Happy birthday to my love!

  • Happy birthday to my love!
  • A sea around my heart:
  • Part shelter, part enduring word,
  • Part mirror of my art.
  • You are the calm that drains my rage,
  • Bliss upon my shores,
  • Immensity immutable,
  • Rush that life restores.
  • To you I wish to be a welcome
  • Harbor for your ocean,
  • Destiny and origin,
  • Aim of your affection,
  • Yearning of your motion

Birthday Surprise

Birthday Surprise

Happy birthday, who would have thought?
Inside the box, guess what I brought!
I’m sure you’ll like it, more as you age,
You are the focus, on center stage.

All these years, memories created,
I did not choose, we’re simply related.
Knowing you, like the back of my hand,
Remember the time, we played in the sand?

I picked it myself, decision was clear,
Once you see it, I’m expecting a Cheer!
I know you will need them, on your Adventures,
Inside the box, a new set of dentures!

Birthday Blessings

Birthday Blessings
Instead of counting candles,
Or tallying the years,
Contemplate your blessings now,
As your birthday nears.
Consider special people
Who love you, and who care,
And others who’ve enriched your life
Just by being there.
Think about the memories
Passing years can never mar,
Experiences great and small
That have made you who you are.
Another year is a happy gift,
So cut your cake, and say,
"Instead of counting birthdays,
I count blessings every day!"

Birthday Appreciation

Birthday Appreciation
Each year your birthday reminds me
That I really want to say
I’m very glad I know you;
I think of you each day.
I hope you enjoy your birthday,
All the pleasures it has in store,
And because I appreciate you,
I hope you have many more!

Brother Birthday Poem

Brother Birthday Poem

A brother is a good thing to have, so let's not forget a brother birthday poem!

Birthday Poem For Brother
I'm fortunate, and I'm glad
I got you for my brother;
Even if I had the chance,
I wouldn't pick another.
I'm happy you're in my life;
You're my winner, come what may.
May your birthday wishes come true
On your very special day.

Baby's First Birthday Poem

Baby's First Birthday Poem

Birthday messages can be specific to someone's age. Here's a first birthday poem for baby.

Baby's First Birthday

It's your very first birthday, baby,
One candle on your cake;
Proud parents stare in wonder
At each new move you make.
We join in celebration,
As this special date arrives,
For baby has brought pleasure
Into all our lives.
We look forward now to seeing
How you progress and grow,
From the cute and tiny infant
You were one year ago.
So dig into your icing;
Enjoy your presents, too.
The reason for this day
Is a special person--you!

Sister Birthday Poem

Sister Birthday Poem

Sister birthday poetry should make Sis feel special, as this sister birthday poem does.

Exceptional Sister
She's one in a million,
Our wonderful sister;
She's smart and she's strong;
We just can't resist her.
Sis, we're so glad
You're in our family;
We really do love you,
As you plainly can see.
So have a great birthday;
Know we're thinking of you,
Giving love and support
In all that you do!

Congratulations to you

Happy Birthday, Old Friend
Congratulations to you, my old friend,
Birthday wishes to you, I send.
You look good for your age, I could say,
But you look good to me any day.
When I look in the mirror, I sigh,
'Cause I know the mirror doesn't lie.
You're aging like me, so you see
You're getting to be an old guy.
